Solidarity with Sierra Leone
Sierra
Leonean singer Tom Samu, who now lives in The Netherlands, founded Solidarity
with Sierra Leone. The mission of the Foundation is to support small-scale projects
in the areas of education, community development and health care. Tom knows the
meaning of attending school with an empty stomach! Martha visited schools and
churches in Wilberforce, Freetown in 2008 and decided to, whenever possible, support

The Pura Vida Project in Puerto Viejo, Costa
Rica
The Pura Vida Project aims to help the children in Puerto Viejo,
Costa Rica. The project has established a surf and skate club and a team for the
local children in order to provide them with alternatives to the drugs, crime
and prostitution prevalent. The Pura Vida Project is in need of surf, skate, and
lifesaving gear as well as school supplies. Spread the word!
